Utrecht is just over half an hour from Amsterdam on the A2. That makes it a middle distance for us: not as spontaneous as Haarlem, but a good deal easier than Rotterdam. All twenty-four escorts cover it.

Utrecht splits into three kinds of destination for us, and they genuinely differ in how easy they are to reach.
The old centre with its wharves and canals is beautiful and awkward: narrow streets, a lot of one-way traffic, and few places to stop. Give the full address here and say whether it's on the canal or down on the wharf.
Around Utrecht Centraal and the Jaarbeurs sit most of the hotels. That's the easiest part of the city for us: well connected to the motorway, with hotels used to business visitors.
Leidsche Rijn, on the west side, lies on the Amsterdam side of the city. In practice we're often there faster than in the centre.
Trade fairs
When there's a big fair at the Jaarbeurs the city changes. Hotels fill up, the A2 gets busier and arrival times become less predictable. That's precisely when the requests come in. Call a few hours ahead rather than at the last minute.
Rate and duration
